Twenty-five dancers jived to the tune of ‘Shop The World’, in a five-minute flash mob at Lot 10, Kuala Lumpur in conjunction with the launch of 11street’s ‘Shop The World’ campaign. The tune forms part of a music video that 11street commissioned for its campaign, which began 11 March and will end on 18 April.
The signature 11street – outstretched double index finger move is incorporated into the dance as to put a quirky element into it. The many hand movements also gesture that it is so easy to shop online having to only ‘Click Click Saja’ and further emphasised with a globe shaped gesture as customers can find what they love on the platform.
‘Shop The World’ campaign is 11street’s brainchild to converge products across the globe with items primarily from five countries – China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and the USA – to let consumers buy items from global brands (a previously challenging feat!) conveniently on its platform. To encourage borderless shopping, 11street is also featuring a vast and variety of popular products from overseas with free shipping.
The icing on the cake comes in the form of RM1million worth of petrol vouchers, in which consumer who purchase RM100 worth of items from the campaign listings are entitled to a RM10 voucher. This bonus from 11street is a move to encourage more consumers to shop online, save cost and manage rising costs of living.
Hoseok Kim, CEO of 11street said: “Our ‘Shop The World’ campaign has a fun connotation to it; playing on the element of vibrant, energetic moves and fun conceptualization, hence we are ecstatic to roll out our very first flash mob. Through the music video which we conceptualised, we wanted to bring the fun to visitors while highlighting the ease to shop worldwide right on our platform.”
At the flash mob, the 11street team also gave out 100 goodie bags consisting of Himalaya, Pepero, Pineng and 11street products worth RM50 each to passers-by.
